None of that has anything to do with political correctness. ...
How so? I really have no idea what you mean by 'political correctness' it just seems to be a catchall term for anything you don't like.
And you left off 'empathy'. ...
Something I'd have thought PC(?) was based upon?
Btw, bullying is more rampant than ever. ...
Where?
How the hell do you know what goes on in school playgrounds, ...
I have kids at school, friends with kids at school, have taught kids and NEET's and know a few teachers, you?
or on social media?
How PC of you? Personally I've taught my kids that if they ever get 'bullied' on social media then they come and tell me but not without first changing their accounts and being more selective with their 'friends', don't post anything they'll be ashamed of saying or doing in person, that if they want to play the social-media popularity game then there's also a penalty for that and lastly one's real friends are those one actually know in person. Seems to be working so far.
I can understand that girls appear more susceptible to such behaviour as it seems an extension of their normal group social behaviour and in this respect my girls have and will be taught a martial art and taught that if it gets really bad and no-one is sorting it then take the boys route and sort it themselves win or lose. If the people are virtual then 'sticks and stones' seems apt.
There are far worse ways to bully someone than calling them 'sambo'. ...
And you'd know this how? But given the phrase is decades out of date I'd say it was just as bad then as whatever is being used now and that's from experience, albeit replacing 'sambo' with 'paki'.
Look at all the young people who kill themselves because of bullying at school which continues onto social media, and because their schools won't do a damn thing because of the wanky, PC 'no blame policy' that started in the US. ...
Where's this 'no blame' policy? We don't have it over here if you mean that we don't recognise who the bully is but what is in place is no corporal punishment, is this what you want back? As it didn't seem to make much of a difference back then. What is it you would actually do that, as far as I can see, our schools are already doing?
As a matter of fact political correctness has done far more harm than good when it comes to schoolyard bullying.
Just seems like more daily mail urban myth to me. What do you actually mean by PC?
Having said all this I do think there is a difference in bullying nowadays and that is that the intensity can be more as it appears the mob mentality is stronger than before due to the social media factor with others jumping on the band-wagon and I do think parental responsibility has been ignored and too much pressure upon schools to solve some of the greater ill's with society.
I've never seen Hobbes say he's Jewish. Of course, anyone can say they are anything on here, so there's little point. The only people I've ever seen citing the 'Khazar theory' are white supremacist types and those who have a particular dislike for Israel.
Why would a white supremacist type say he was Jewish?
