I agree with you. But I don't believe the government will reduce the eagle population, the opposite may happen (based on the article).

Zika Emergency Crisis Due to Enviro Wackos
http://www.jewishworldreview.com/0816/colon080916.php3
"Many of the world's leading scientists predicted 30 years ago that Carson's crusade against DDT would allow some of the world's deadliest diseases to return with dreadful consequences. The truth of that prediction is now upon us . . . right on schedule. The real tragedy is that our squeamishness regarding DDT is the major reason millions die in poor countries year after year. This does not have to be the case as eradication of disease-carrying mosquitoes can be simple and effective through the safe and effective use of DDT. That some in Congress cling to the completely debunked notion that DDT is unsafe for fish, wildlife, birds and humans defies common sense."

It's amazing that anyone who grows their own fruit and vegetables could survive at all, without the 'benefit' of friendly, harmless helpers like DDT.
"What grants are being paid to those scientists that claim global warming is caused by humans?"
Enough said about that particular article. Alicia Colon is a self-described 'conservative' (aka a right-wing fascist lunatic).

The ABC of the situation.
https://www.masterresource.org/cuisinar ... doiletter/
The birds would be safe if only the climate did not change.
For the sake of life, end climate change.
Save for life, no cost is too high, no tax is too high.
But, wait until the days are warm and the nights are cool enough for a light jacket, maybe a sweater.
Only then, fix the climate so it doesn’t change anymore.
If hesitant, remember this is for the future, and the children.

The climate doesn't need fixing. Global warming is unproven.

I’m not so sure just anyone is allowed to contribute to a truth that requires a consensus.
Besides, they have conferences and everything. Just had a big shindig in Paris not too long ago. In fact, it was a signature achievement, and peoples’ representatives are quite proud.
Here’s more evidence that the climate in fact, does change.
From one year ago.

I see proof every day that global warming is pseudoscience. The fact that local weather forecasting is far from a science and global warming involves many more variables to predict accurately says something. Look at hurricane tracking, e.g., that uses about a dozen different models - the result being you get spaghetti all over your tv screen also says something.

PS When I don't see spaghetti on my tv screen anymore and see one line representing the true predicted path of the hurricane, then we'll have something further to talk about.

Science deniers in the wind industry
https://wattsupwiththat.com/2017/03/08/ ... -industry/
“Infrasound (inaudible) and low-frequency (audible) noise (slowly vibrating sound waves collectively referred to as ILFN) produced by Industrial-scale Wind Turbines (IWTs) directly and predictably cause adverse human health effects. The sonic radiation tends to be amplified within structures, and sensitivity to the impact of the resonance increases with continuing exposure.”

Perhaps not as much harm as the effects of polluting the air with the products of burning coal.
What makes you think that an oil company funded web site is going to be balanced on this issue?

Sadly Americans don't know the difference.
Like where the fuck did Buffalo Bill live? Singapore?
You can't blame the Americans. It was French trappers dipping down to get new game.
I'd make an argument for Tatanka as their real name. Since that was the name given by those who saw them way before Americans or French.
Although these animals have “bison” three times in their scientific name, they are often called buffalo. The word buffalo is derived from the French “bœuf,” a name given to bison when French fur trappers working in the US in the early 1600s saw the animals. The word bœuf came from what the French knew as true buffalo, animals living in Africa and Asia. Although this name was a mix-up of two different animals, many people still know bison as buffalo today.
Another name for these animals is “tatanka.” Tatanka is the Lakota word for bison. Bison are incredibly important in Lakota culture; the Lakota are traditionally nomadic and would have spent their lives following bison before Euro-Americans settled the West. Another word for bison in Lakota is “pte.” The Lakota are sometimes known as pte oyate, meaning “buffalo nation.”
But those who destroy things or nearly do often get to name them.
