How would a loss of faith change you, or your life?
Once you know something exists - it is impossible to return to another position. The loss in faith i would have - would ultimately be the loss of trust.

Imagine you had an accident and you lost your memory and knowledge. You are blank. How would not knowing God change your 'real life' ?

You have had some unpleasant experiences and you blame God for those experiences. Do you also give Good credit for any good things that may have happened?

Of all the questions you could ask of someone that claims to know God exists and you ask that. Well, i guess i would remain like every other bod on this forum.

Atto... If you were standing in a stadium full of guys all claiming to be the ONE AND ONLY Santa -- would you think they were all deluded?
How can you claim something that so many other dingdongs are claiming, and somehow convince yourself that you're not a dingdong too?

God was ALL of those unpleasant experiences. Today, yesterday, last thursday...etc. I've experience what heaven is when it has permitted. ..and yea i liked it...a lot. It has told me 6 yrs ago something very appealing re heaven -here on Earth...re a soul mate.
You do know that - i cant remember where - in the bible it states that to get heaven you will at first HATE your life. Are you aware of the passage?

I am familiar with the passage, but it doesn't mean what you think it means. This is the problem with the Bible, there is so much that is taken literally, that is not meant literally.

Of all the answers you could respond with, to a person that is curious about how any lack of faith/knowledge would affect you or your life, and you give that.
You would not remain as anybody else other than what you are just now but lacking in knowledge. Every other bod on this forum is not part of the experiment. How would your life progress ?

You can't get to heaven until you learn to LOVE your life!
Doesn't that make more sense? Life being a gift from God? Why would you need to hate it to earn heaven. So twisted!

I agree. Unfortunately you must misunderstand me re my understanding of it. I have total understanding of Christ, perhaps one day i can have a chat privately re this and my life's experience. This 'God' entity has communicated to me over the past few days something really positive, one day if it works out, i would like to share my
true understanding with you...i respect you a lot Mr Doc.

The same as anyone else that is not aware of 'ITs' existence. Mine would be a shit load more peaceful - without ALL the tests!

Thankyou for that.
Please understand that I can only know you by what you have posted on this forum, beyond that I don't know anything about you, so I have to form my impression of you from that. It's nice to know that there is someone else who is aware that the words in the Bible are not just skin deep.

There are always tests of some kind in life, with or without faith in God (or lack of awareness of an 'IT').
Some earthly tests have a goal and a pass mark. You can fail but still feel a sense of achievment in simply improving/expanding current knoiwledge/experience. Others test our selves and ability to cope with all sorts.
How would a lack of tests set by an 'IT' make your life more peaceful?

Do you think you are the only one, and if so, please explain why you think that makes sense for a god.
