Maybe but I think the 'Celts' not all that peaceful and the historical queens and modern female leaders don't show that there'll be much difference.
I think that historical queens were surrounded by male advisors... as are modern female leaders. I'm not saying that females don't bear any responsibility, because of course they do! And I'm not saying that women can't be crazy rulers/leaders, because of course they can! But I don't think there would be as many wars if there wasn't such a male thirst for it. I don't think females have the same kind of conquer and destroy attitudes in GENERAL that men have. Men LIKE battle. Women, seem more geared toward cooperation. OF COURSE these are huge generalizations, and there are always cross-over characteristics. My point is that I think the heavily/overly-weighted male influence and leadership is destroying our world. I think mankind needs to stop shooting guns and aggressively controlling as a form of communication and validation and power, and start realizing its connection to all else. The best leadership would be a broadly conscious and respectful one... and probably requires a balance of genders to help keep energies in check. But it wouldn't be the struggle that it is if people in general were more conscious of their connection to all else. I think we're heading that way. Destroying our world and each other should help expand awareness for those that survive and come after.

Imagine each country headed by a group of women (without being heavily influenced by males). Do you think countries would be warring or cooperating? Things might be very different, indeed... and that consideration alone offers an interesting comparison to what we think is so "normal" and inevitable right now.

So what Hollywood, 'USA' movie is that excerpt from? ;)
From what I heard, it surely stands to reason, that the U.S. of A. is not finished yet. Depending of course how much stock one places in the screenplays of Hollywood movies.
Actually I've always liked that actor. ;)
But seriously, it's those currently in charge that are responsible, it could be heard in the statistics he referenced, if they in fact ring true, and without checking, I for one believe they do.

So a mindless twit you surely seem to be Bob.

That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard you say. Yes even dumber than you being a prophet. It would certainly seem your prophet-dom or is that prophet-dumb has sunk into the whole of the meek inheriting the earth.

But then I've always known your words to be lame. Money and prophets don't mix. You wouldn't know humility if it bit you on your anus/mouth, as they surely seem to be the same thing. Shit, being what they have in common!

Not many here lend any credence to your words, good thing! As it automatically gives them a leg up!

Speaking of "mindless twits," I'm guessing all of you foreign, socialist bastards qualify, although Americans would never use a faggoty term like "twit."

I think I read the version without the "w."

I don't represent anybody but myself, but idiots like you represent the rest of the world, and I say idiots because America has been carrying you bastards on our back since the beginning of time.

Reverend Bob, you know I know you're a prophet, and that. But even I'm struggling: you do realise there was a time before breakfast?

I use the phrase, "since the beginning of time" allegorically, befitting a prophet.

What are you talking about? I'm an American. And you are an embarrassment to Americans.

It's the old squeaky wheel thing. Unfortunately the image that is projected out to the rest of the world is a country of insane 'bobs'.

Bob, I'm a so called American, because I was born here, though my sir name is in fact English. I worked for the US DOD for 16 long years, defending her against enemy's both foreign and domestic, I had to raise my right hand and say so. I have all this US government paperwork, and cards that say I was honorably discharged, and was recommended for both retention and advancement. I was formally practically begged to stay and continually work on, in and around, multi-million dollar aircraft, as I had for 16 years, by our departments technical representative, a lieutenant in the US naval reserves. Why? Because I take things seriously. My final evals stated that I showed meticulous attention to detail. If they wanted a job done right, they gave it to me. In the end, my forth job, I repaired those machines that were used to test our machines. I was also a nuclear weapons loading team member. Why all this, supposed, braggadocios-ness? As a testament to my being more of a, so called, American than you are. Or so their trust in me surely seems to indicate. What have you done for her? Have you laid your life down for her?

But in truth, today, I'm not really an American, yet I am. In fact I'm a human of the earth, I support none, yet all nationalities, this is because I'm a student of philosophy. It dictates that I am as I am, else I'm not a very good student.

When I see such commentary, about, "My self's better than your self, my self's better than yours," I usually just laugh at the fools, because it is indeed a fools game! Philosophically speaking, of course. And you continually seem to be it's biggest player, boy!

Very often with your words, you dig a hole of silliness, then when so easily attacked for it, you spout even sillier silliness, as if it'll somehow save you, of course my viewpoint is illuminated by the contrast afforded by philosophy. It's about understanding humans and their current condition, that you are so easily framed, as what you are not. You are certainly neither a philosopher nor a prophet, as you exemplify neither, with your speech! You seem like an unruly boy, that says things just so he can get attention, even if it's bad attention, a testament to your childhood?

I'm afraid you don't know what a real American is. Yes there are a few of us still left! A real American holds her to the highest standards.

Where does a bastard like you get off disparaging the likes of me? You only worked for the government, right, the people a normal person wouldn't ask the time of day from for fear of getting the wrong answer. End of story, pal.

As usual, your boast the stuff of fiction. We live relatively close. We should exchange addresses so we can discuss it further in person. Care to? You know, American to American!
