It can be interesting to appear unintelligent, it gives one an interesting perspective. As if one were participating in a movie. You can choose the moment when you surprise the others by saying something far from stupid.

Fooling around and acting in a silly way can provide comic relief from stress.

Bragging is a part of American culture, in particular the Texan culture, and we have to accept it.
Just as much as we accept African women dancing with naked breasts their dances of fertility.

Not everybody has to be the same.

...not on Philosophy Forums where all the crap gets buried under more crap...the one thing you can be sure of and depend on. If you could turn it into heavy crude, we'd never run out.
