Perhaps you can go into more detail on this point. What would we find out from Cantor and Russell?

You might be aware that the set theory we use and teach today is not the set theory of Cantor; nor is the mathematical logic we use that of Russell.

ps -- If you wanted to read the ancients -- and the set theory of the late 19th and early 20th century is ancient -- you'd be better off with Zermelo and Frege. But when it comes to set theory and the mathematical theory of infinity, better to read contemporary sources. Only consult the ancients for the history.

Elaborate on some of the axioms you are referring too.
