Roughly speaking. They tend to cancel each other out when it comes to extremism on both sides of politics. Yes, that would be a reasonable way of stating the problem in broad terms. Yes, the more oppressive the regime the greater the importance. Probably works the other way as well. Bob, you quoted Williams as if his opinions should be trusted and taken seriously. I think I showed how his opinions, on this matter at least, are flawed. I say he's wrong.
As I recently posted, I pointed out to Williams why his position on a subject was wrong, but on his article at the start of this thread, he is 100% correct.
