its real but rest state real makes it the linier time fictional.consciousness must be rest state real to event fictional real.consciousness has got to be a form of rest state time.with spacetime comming from the energy.if so then
diffrentual in rest state time (consciousness) = space +energy in time (consciousness)
so time = event in consciousness

Re: The beginning of time
what I gather is that "time" in the philosophical or physical sense could conceptually be swapped with "change" - reality is always changing in relation to itself, but it's true nature and state of being are just perceived differently by us....which leads to on the other hand "time" in the everyday sense has nothing to do with this question and refers to the way in which we as finite beings perceive our own changes in how we are perceiving the reality around us? Of course all things said, since that means time both doesn't and doesn't exist, it's always easy to think of it as an illusion.
But you're quite right, the answer to how change began may very well be beyond our grasp eternally...then again only by being beyond the ability of our perception can things be changing over time to us?
Of course my final thoughts are that if it does have a beginning and an end then it is just plain real...I'd rather think of it as an illusory way to experience reality according to the powers of perception we have and it therefore has no beginning or end.
