American football will never catch on as it costs too much to play. It's a game for the idle wealthy capitalist and reflects the American past of land-grabbing.
Hate to tell you but football fever has been here for over 144 years but I say this number as I'm working from Association rules. Whereas we could say its been around here for over 648 years as at that time a king of Scotland tried to ban it.

A PACKED house was treated to an excellent, exciting game today and ALL OF LONDON was glued to the tele to witness the Minnesota Vikings etch-out their first win of the season!
