Are you a professional scientist, Bill ?
If it is not too personal.

In other words, you want this thread to go round in a big circle, Bill. Circular argument par excellence! lol

.
Yes you are the other.
Very nice post.
You articulate yourself well.
I understand you and I respect you.
Thank you for responding.
I think I will back-off from my assertion that Neuro-linguistic Programming is a fallacy.
Thank you again.

I like many of your pictures, Bill.
Most of them are really amusing.
If I did not know that you were so much against NLP I would have supposed that you were an adherent of it.
Where do you get your positive energy from ?
Perhaps you could start your own school.

I am not for or against Neuro-linguistic Programming.
From what I know of it, the concept is credible.
I think most of us just call this psychology by a different name or really don't identify the process at all.
I was just pushing a bit in order to test the both of you upon your commitment & understanding.
You did pretty well.
I always try to have a connection from the GIFs or images to the thread or a specific post.
Or I post an image if I think it is interesting or visually stunning.

And you are good at it. Your choices are artistic.
I still remember the head of the bird turning, as an expression of scepticism.
I wanted the bird head to stop for a little longer before it moved back to the first position. I wanted to look the bird in the eye.
It was some kind of duck with a long beak.
You probably compose commercials, Bill.
Do you know the commercial with a woman wearing a bikini and running in slow-motion on the beach and her wobbly dog as a companion running with her while two men are watching the leisurly performance ?
I like it a lot, even though I am straight.
The ad was advertising joghurt for those who need a bikini figure tomorrow.
(die schon morgen eine Bikini-Figur brauchen).

lmao.

Dur! It clearly states that it was based upon using the techniques that actually worked from Psychology. The major difference is it has no pet theory or school of mind other than an epistemology and a pedagogy, I call it a phenomenology. Other differences are that it decided to study those who got 'better' rather than those who were 'ill' and that it thinks it's discovered a way to describe how to learn and transfer learning, i.e. a pedagogy.
I was just pushing a bit in order to test the both of you upon your commitment & understanding.
lmfao!
Duszek has no real understanding per se of NLP but makes observant comments about what he hears.
You did pretty well.
roflmao!

You are right, Arising, I have had only a glimpse or two so far about what NLP is about.
I am ready to give them a fair chance.
Anyone who is not a vilain and who honestly tries to contribute to the happiness of mankind deserves a fair chance.
::::::::::::::::
When I think about it the ad was probably aimed at women who wanted to look attractive to men.
Why did feel like mentioning that I was straight ? Because I felt the need to explain myself when I liked the performance of an attractive woman ? I am not sure myself. Perhaps I should better try to be less spontaneous.
