Let me ask you a question, could a charlatan discover the origin of Cincinnati's Queen City name in 20 minutes, something the rest of the world couldn't do in 170 years?

Discovery and "invention" are two word people often mix up...so to answer you're question...yes.

Not necessarily, but I'm not aware of any other prophets with mystical credentials.

But you mystical credentials stem from a gematria that is universal to all writing forms. If one practices studying a gematria, does that give them mystical credentials?
