Most of people believe that if you learn more and more you will get more and more nihilism. But that is because they have learn some theories instead of others, etc.

The origin of the universe can provide me with further food for thought.
But the motivation has to come from within me.

This trying to arouse a motivation I see it in the way you write, in your interest for the other.
And it is this selfless love that perhaps can serve.
Even if the nihilistic drive is refractory to the treatment received. Being a visceral drive.

By itself the suggestion to learn has in my opinion little chance of success.

Perhaps love, more easily the look of the Medusa.
