The above was the first record I ever bought, that and an Adam Ant record. This versions a bit annoying though, with noises over the top of music and teacher's ugly shouting face. The original cartoon animation is best where kids are being put through a meat grinder. Though I can't find that version.

this version is a bit annoying i agree, and of course don't want to see anyone through a meat grinder, but view it as symbolic in this case etc.

i liked cages version of silence, i've been thinking more about sound & silence lately, and although have considered the mu a long time ago, have recently found that as much as it seems contradictory, sound is very much a reflection of the mu (even what is assumed to be "non-silent" sound) (not that i am saying i am correct), and then later had also stumbled upon others who have found the same
