I watched the first seasons of that show and lost interest. I remember a performance of
My Funny Valentine. Also remember a cover of
Mad World that was pretty good because of how a powerful voice was held in restraint and then unleashed briefly and just at the proper moment, which was a nice change of pace from the usual gymnastics on the show.
Come to think of it, I started watching after the first few seasons. The first season I watched was won by big Ruben.
