Perhaps you are smarter that you seem.
And maybe there's just something lost in translation!

“Whose philosophy is not self serving?”

Only the altruistic (which is to say, insane folks).

##

“Where are you from Henry?”

Not New York.

No, no no, you seem to live in a drab, black and white world, much like your cave painting, which to me, currently, seems like your self portrait indeed. Did you even understand the Mother Teresa point? There are billions of shades of gray between the blackest of blacks, and the whitest of whites, where the blackest of blacks is that megalomaniac/psychopath that walks right up to a baby, chops it up and eats it, then chops at you because you looked it's way, and where the whitest of whites moves to get out of your way, even though they're twice your mass and might, while washing your feet in the process, and laying down so you can walk over them, through the mud, like a doormat and telling you that god loves you, no matter what you've done. And the truth of the matter, where one speaks of selflessness, is as close to the "turn the other cheek," whitest of whites, that one can get, while speaking of the truly selfish is about those that live as close to that black heart perspective as they can possibly get, but let's not forget the "BILLIONS" of grays in between, such that ones comments on the matter, is really just a matter of perspective of endless relative degrees. Which is all humans can have, due to their fear for survival, 'often' mis-aimed, wholly dependent upon the degree of their fear, and ignorance! The more fearful and ignorant, the blacker! The less ignorant and fearful, the whiter, where the highest of intellect, non ignorant, and the least fearful are only selfish with themselves, self sacrificial, while being selfless with all others. Of course they get to be the savior, their selfishness, but relative to all the rest, everyone else is a joke, in terms of fear and ignorance. So it's a no brainer, at least for one that has a brain, that this is in fact what is meant when speaking of selfishness, and selflessness.

So when considering this, it all depends upon where one wants to be in terms of fear and ignorance.

Anyone here have a brain?

"Did you even understand the Mother Teresa point?"

Wasn't worth my effort: old crone is dead and gone (good riddance and rot in peace).

Do you really think anyone would admit it, except Wacko-Bob.

Needs more exclamation marks.

Doc,

That question - comin' from SoB -- is like a blind man askin' 'can any one here see?'

More fun to let the mook bump into walls.

It was a challenge, to take on the point at hand? I've been studying mankind's psyche for quite some time, what has everyone else been studying? And then that's their forte'.
