This is for all you Jazz Fusion lovers,
Technically complicated instrumentals by a very talented relative newcomer to the guitar, with a very interesting playing style.
He's even done some interesting covers of other great players.
Some of those great players have praised him for his abilities/style, and a few have even invited him to accompany them at one of their shows.
You may be already aware of him, but if not enjoy and keep an eye on him, if you like this style of music, I'm sure he'll not disappoint.

Something more modern: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4AuCAMy ... rt_radio=1

Something more traditional: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OYOI38F ... rt_radio=1

Enjoy Walker, and everyone else too.

Yes, Matteo Mancuso is absolutely amazing. Blinding speed, beautifully tasteful licks, and great tone.

And it's doubly amazing how he gets such powerful sounding string plucks without using a pick.

I wonder what pedal(s) he uses to achieve that over-drive tone? I suspect it to be something from Fractal Audio's line of Axe-Fx units.

It will be interesting to see if he inspires more kids to adopt his unusual finger picking style.

Agreed!
I had the luxury of seeing him and his latest band live at a very small venue. It of course was an awesome show. He's a monster and his band-mates do him justice. I'm especially impressed by the drummer, fast, expressive, with some really syncopated rhythms. I've seen his bassist do much better on youtube videos, he's also no slouch, but for some reason he was a bit off his game at the show I attended. Maybe it was rapidly touring North America that was giving him troubles, he still did a great job though.

Mateo's multi-positioned bass style picking with fingernails is absolutely wild. I can't wait to see how the band progresses, looking forward for his second Album.

The washing machine in the kitchen at the moment.

It's acoustic and got a consistent rhythm to it at any rate....
