lim x->∞ ~0/x =~ 0
1 * ~0 =~ 0 (1)
lim x->∞ (1/x) = ~0 (2)
lim x->∞ ~0/x = ~0 (3)
From limit laws:
lim(ab) = lim(a) + lim(b) (4)
From 4 above:
lim x->∞ ~0/x = lim x->∞ (~0/x + 1/x) = lim x->∞ (~0/x) + lim x->∞ (1/x)
From 2 and 3 above:
lim x->∞ ~0/x = ~0 + ~0
Can you evaluate ~0 + ~0 for me ?

~0 + ~0 = ~0
What is the point you are making?

Actually! I look here/
lim x->∞ (1/x) = ~0 (2)
lim x->∞ ~0/x = ~0 (3)
lim x->∞ (1/x) = lim x->∞ ~0/x
1 = ~ 0
CONTRADICTION

Yes you have made an error.

Yes you have made an error.
No no. Lets do some science now!
There are two plausible hypotheses here.
A. I have made an error
B. You have made an error.
How would we determine which one is which?
Maybe you should do the Maths then? Or find my "error"?
Ohhh. It is so much fun when people bow down to the LNC

You made the error because you said lim x->∞ (1/x) =~ 1
It's 0.

Where did I say that?

No I didn't. I said 1 = ~0.
Let me show you my work.
This is DIRECTLY FROM YOUR AXIOMS!!!
lim x->∞ (1/x) = ~0 (2)
lim x->∞ ~0/x = ~0 (3)
∴ lim x->∞ (1/x) = lim x->∞ (~0/x)
∴ 1/x = ~0/x
∴ 1 = ~0

This is what happens when you don't understand the implications of Godel

I give up dude, you are using a different version of logic to me.

No, no darling. You aren't going to get off so easy. I want to see an admission of error on your part.
I am using YOUR LOGIC!!!

lim 1/x as as >∞ ~ 0
devans99 wrote: ↑Tue Nov 27, 2018 11:20 am
lim x->∞ ~0/x =~ 0
∴ lim x->∞ 1/x = lim x->∞ ~0/x
∴ 1/x = ~0/x
∴ 1 = ~0
Show me the error or acknowledge the contradiction.

You wrote:
lim x->∞ (1/x) = ~0 (2)
lim x->∞ ~0/x = ~0 (3)
∴ lim x->∞ (1/x) = lim x->∞ (~0/x)
∴ 1/x = ~0/x
∴ 1 = ~0
I've corrected it below:
lim x->∞ (1/x) = ~0 (2)
lim x->∞ ~0/x = ~0 (3)
∴ lim x->∞ (1/x) = lim x->∞ (~0/x)
∴ 1/x = ~0/x
∴ 0 = ~0
