The famed Overton Window has shifted in the last twenty years or so. What the Left used to call "moderate" or "centrist" is now considered by them to be "right" or "extremist." So now, what's Left is farther left than ever. But the right didn't really move. They just got bigger as the Left contracted into the extremes.

You can see this in the fact that all the major figures in the present administration were once considered centrist Dems -- Gabbard, Kennedy, Musk...and even Trump himself. How did it come about that a whole Repub administration is now dominated by former Dems?

The Left eats its own children. So the best of the Left left.
