Godfree your posts look like they have come out of some sort of RANDOM CRAP GENERATOR. So let me revert back to the start of our conservation so you can have another crack at comprehending what I have stated.
Godfree wrote:attofishpi wrote:Contrary to that and a more intelligent rational comprehension is quite the opposite, an ensuing entropy...dictates with a very high probability that a 'God' of some sort WILL eventually exist...
Ok so lets try and list them in order of probability ,
1 ,,An infinite universe in which we evolved .
2,,A finite universe in which we evolved ,
3,,God did it ,
Would you agree with that order , if not what order would you put them in ,??
We are talking about man's comprehension of reality in relation to 'God' so we really should be speaking from a perspective of a 'finite' universe.
The reason i state that is because resources available to man ARE finite. The entropy of our 'system' over time will continue to increase.
Agreed?
Again, the answer is binary, either you agree or you dont.

So you are now telling me how to respond to your posts ,
why not just tell me what to put as well ,??
as I said aren't you having a conversation with yourself
how does an Infinite universe increase ,,????
so my answer to your question is NO,
which one of my questions did you answer ,,???

Atto, you are an obvious fool, to think that you could possibly get anywhere with Godfree if you proceed as such. If you don't believe me, reread my first phrase above, after I mention your name, over and over again, to finally understand, or are you insane?

Ok Godfree so we are back at square two. Read closely what i had written, i am not stating any universe increases, i am stating the
entropy of the system is increasing.
I am stating that the resources available to man ARE finite...to which you are disagreeing.
Once again by disagreeing with my statement you are stating that the resources available to man are infinite.

Entropy , while you may consider your being clever here ,
a term like that is a complex and vast subject on it's own ,
to drop it in here as tho we all know what it means ,
or what you mean in this context ,?????????
but since your sooooo clever ,
put it in laymans terms ,
are you talking about the total mass in the universe , total knowledge , variations ,???
show us how clever you are and put it in a sentence everybody here can understand ,,,!!!!

Because some men can't comprehend infinity , they are trapped in finite thinking.
As are we all.
like mortality. We all children of our limits.
there is but one way.
Imagination, will set us free.

we live in a steady state universe ,
an infinite steady state .

Imagination yes , I imagine my presumptions are accurate , and true ,
I imagine there will always be the believers ,
don't we still have a flat earth society ,,???
pagans , witches , Druids ,
there is some very old thinking still alive and well in this 21st century
but I imagine most of us will eventually leave the ignorance behind us and face reality,
I imagine that is ,,
no god ,,no life after death ,, no heaven ,,no ghosts ,,spirits ..

What has life after death, heaven, ghosts, spirits. to do with intelligent design?
The God you speak of is a "religious" construct for the stupid.. i speak of design. not your wasted effort to ridicule a thing so stupid as
the holy trinity or spirits in the sky .
Religion is like a canker of the soul. and a a soothsayer.
It has wisdoms yet eats you alive
think 1st then reply. dont reply then jerk off

This looks like Eric Lerner's website.
I don't see any mentions of Michael Lewis here.

Being a first class layman myself, i thought it was rather obvious what i am stating. If you didnt understand the term entropy then you should have looked it up in a dictionary prior to answering my question.
I think my original statement is in "layman's terms":-
The resources available to man ARE finite.
Or do you still disagree?

Yes finite but if we use what we have to get more the amount grows till we have the galaxy to draw on.
then things get interesting. earth is a cradle.. we must escape the warm fuzzy nurture.
And strike out as a species.
We are predators . let us use this on path to a true civilization.
i can lay out steps from now to 'empire of man'.
starting with our solar system.
and to start it costs what we spend on war. 1.5 to 2 trillion a year. a better investment no?
