The question has been answered, and no matter how much Billy Graham's association tries to sugar-coat it, both he and his organization are the phoney-baloneys I suspected! See, it takes a real prophet to spot a phoney prophet from a mile away!

Bob,

We appreciate your question as to whether Mr. Graham really composes each reply in his “My Answer” column. Through the years God has given Mr. Graham some wonderful people at various stages of his ministry to help him in research for his sermons and writings. There are currently members of Mr. Graham’s staff, who have worked very closely with him through the years, who assist him in responding to questions submitted to the “My Answer” column in a way that closely reflects his mind and spirit.

We trust this information is helpful. May God bless you.

Sincerely,

K. C. James (jo)

Looks like they're being fairly upfront to me.

Please, John, don't be so naive. When people read Billy Graham's column, "My Answer," they expect, and have a right to expect, that the column is written by Billy Graham and not some ringer masquerading as Billy Graham. What do you expect his association to say when confronted with the issue, that they're all a bunch of fucking imposters???

Lots of "celebrity" columns are ghost written so it doesn't come a huge surprise to me given the state of his health. Not that I particularly care who writes his column anyway.

bobevenson wrote: John, you're just saying that. You don't know or have any evidence that other columns are ghost-written. At least I've got the balls to go out and come up with real answers instead of just flapping my lips!

Private Eye (UK satirical news magazine) writes on such things now and again. For example, it's well document that football pundit Alan Hansen speaks to a journalist on the phone who then writes a column and sticks Hansen's name on it.

bobevenson wrote:First of all, it's soccer, not football, and secondly, you are talking about sports commentary, not something a little more important to people's lives, like Billy Graham's column. Nice try, though.

I said "celebrity columns" and I suspect that even with your limited reading comprehension skills you would know what "celebrity" means and who it includes. Obviously I overestimated you.

Anyway, the veracity of Billy Graham's newspaper columns has to be about the dullest thing I've ever argued with you about so I think I'll probably leave you to it.

I'm talking about general principles, my friend, something that has obviously gone right over your head.

You recently berated a poster for not making any comments worth responding to. Well, Mr. Pot, you sure know how to call a kettle black!

EH? Which is exactly the same advice I gave to John!!

Well, Mr. Pot, you sure know how to call a kettle black!

Which makes this comment gibberish.
You are not worth responding to either.

How can you not respond to a prophet, idiot? Oh, I forgot, it's because you're an idiot.
