I LOVE that bus2bondi.
I looked-up the term relativism.
Mark, could you tell me what you like about relativism?
I like the all points of view are equally valid part about it.
Seems like an interesting concept.

sounds like common sense is running in that story faster than analytic rationalism that is more common in science than in religions and daily life? which one is the tortoise and which one is the photon? in a flat earth?

what you like nazisms and breiviks point of views then? and if you like that they are equally valid too, have you then equally valid point of views which are conflicting and contradictory, when treated as equally valid concepts?
i really dont know what to say about relativism like that.

Mark, I think you may be jumping to conclusions that don't exist, especially about me.
All of us live in a multidimensional continuum.
If there is a black for us then there must exist it's opposite; white.
In addition, there must exist every hue of grey in between.
If there is a subject where a pure yes or affirmative is possible for an individual's opinion then there must exist it's opposite; a person with a complete negative or no in response. And again, every opinion in between must exist somewhere within someone.
That is the way it is.
If that is relativism then fine.
I don't know anything about relativism at all and I don't care to.
Your questioning is odd.
Insincere.
Remember, I am stating that we are The Most Important Philosophers of Our Time.
That is what this thread is about.
Don't let me down.
This should not be a site where members hunt each other down...
We have the ability to question EVERY word of every post upon every thread. This is something past philosophers did not endure.
This is the beauty of this medium. We can, with each others help, become razor thin.
Employ your time in improving yourself by other men's writings, so that you shall gain easily what others have labored hard for.

False words are not only evil in themselves, but they infect the soul with evil.

many poor, unemployed and hungry people in germany liked nazis who promised better times.
If that is nazism then fine.
I don't know anything about nazism at all and I don't care to.
If there is a black nazism then there must exist it's opposite; white nazism.
In addition, there must exist every hue of grey in between.

In that way, you complete me.

Each verbalization is an untruth. Yet untruth, when understood, can be used as a tool, a tool to point to a greater truth. Each greater truth unlocking a new perception, each perception tested, toned & tooled.

Each verbalization, each thought is estranged from reality. We perceive ourselves as separate.
Great question. I enjoy enlightening you and your friends.

Separate from what? Explain how a 'verbalization' is related to 'thought'. Explain what you mean by a 'thought'? Explain what you mean by 'reality'?
Great question. I enjoy enlightening you and your friends.
Do you? Heard the word "delusional" before?
Explain why you start your posts with a full-stop!?
Explain why you think
writing in big bold letters adds import to your words?

Delusional!
The use of images is restricted to you Bill as you have trouble understanding words so we thought we'd talk to you in the only way you appear to understand.

Do not be frightened. I will not hurt you. I come here as a surgeon. A personality surgeon.
I have come here to cut away the the chains that bind you. I have come here to relieve you of the cancer that encases you.
I am here to free you of the false mask, an avatar, that allows you to say things that you would not normally say while speaking in your own legal name.
As philosophers, one of the things we must do is search for the truth. In order to search for the truth you must respect the truth. To search for truth you must begin with the truth. And even then, with all our efforts, the truth is difficult to become.
Continue to post and begin threads. I will be with you always.
You no longer need to be frightened. You no longer need to hate.
I have spoken.
