Just how many "ist" labels do you need in philosophy?

While I'm no philosophist, I suspect it's because people love categorising things, including themselves. It would be a pretty chaotic world if we didn't.

..I love U ...I went to the pub especially to have these daft conversations - since Saints got drilled again... (unfortunately - the expresso machine has been cleaned - apparently atto cant have an expresso martini - lucky for anyone that has the nerve to think I dont know how to comprehend a graphFlashDangerpants wrote: ↑Sat Sep 14, 2024 5:00 pmIf you hadn't lied about reading those three posts you would know something about why that isn't the problem for me that you think it is. A very basic intro I admit, but something.attofishpi wrote: ↑Sat Sep 14, 2024 4:48 pmDuh. I'm not siding with anyone just pointing out you have absolutely NO way to provide an opinion that can be "VALUED" above his..by your very own poorly reasoned non yardstick of ETHICS...FlashDangerpants wrote: ↑Sat Sep 14, 2024 4:42 pm I would sort of expect you to be on Jacobi's side anyway tbh.
Get it? Comprehendeath?
But it took you 13 years to begin to wonder what rationalism is, and you don't actually know what it is today. So for you to get up to speed to understand my positions on the matter of moral philosophy will require several centuries at your current rate of progress. This makes it entirely pointless for me to explain or debate with you.
Anyway, he is racist, so that is an "ist" you can add to your list. Along with Henry the minarchist, Gary the onanist, Accelafine the miserablist, and attopishpie the always-pissed.
0134 here...re "rationalism" etc ...ya, I still think I'd prefer to rationalise my way through time and space without comprehending what other humans insist - once I am definitely determined I am bored enuff to read philosophical "isms" and become "ist" ...maybe, can't commit though - the future will unravel as I decide.
Do you understand my reasoning?

Don't worry, it's time for you to crawl into a nice warm puddle of your own vomit and sleep off the effects of a long day. Try not to mix too much piss into that puke, and sleep tight.

I had a lovely day actually stupid poo. I spent the day with a girl from Japan, and boy did I learn a lot. Some people think once they exit school\college\uni they can switch off - nothing more to learn.FlashDangerpants wrote: ↑Sat Sep 14, 2024 5:15 pmDon't worry, it's time for you to crawl into a nice warm puddle of your own vomit and sleep off the effects of a long day. I think most people on this forum are not of that view, but boy (am I glad I kept away from "philosophy" for study) - still, I see no reason to delve into its shallow puddles ...certainly knot from the fathoms of depth I have been (so fuck u and anyone as arrogant and condescending as U)
