No. You need to read my argument again. My argument is a reductio ad absurdum argument.
Now, if you are trying to show that 'the opposite scenario would lead to absurdity or contradiction, then providing a scenario that is Truly absurd and/or contradictory is not going to work. For obvious reasons.
