Only you could have made that stupid conclusion.
You are a black and white thinker.
If you don't understand, ask someone else.
I wasn't talking to you. Either contribute to the thread or leave.

So that's it...? No Nobility?
I suppose it makes sense, seeing how this Postmodern Era is ending all conclusions of its Western Liberal Enlightenment phase.
No Nobility, nothing in life worth fighting for, nothing in life worth dying for. No Tomorrow. Nothingness, Nihilism.
That said, looks like I'll stand alone in Defiance against you all.
Why don't you contribute something?

What are the Noblest human endeavors?
Producing the means of survival. Everything after that is gravy.

The world is much larger than one man and one woman.

Yet some people risk their lives for "higher" ideals...what are those higher ideals?

I have to agree, obviously the world, indeed, is very much larger than one man and one woman.
In fact if you look closer at this truth, one man and one woman are comparable to two grains of sand within a really big desert.
Then if you look a very lot closer still at the size of the world, you'll also notice that even the world is comparable to a grain of sand within an even bigger desert, called space.
And to think that all of this knowledge of everything, is actually what's streaming out from just one man and one woman....isn't that clever!
Who'd have thought that, that one man and one woman would be the vessel from which absolutely everything known comes streaming out of. Imagine that tiny speck of a thing containing everything.....it's totally mind blowing.
This tiny speck of a thing is not the thing looking at everything, rather, this tiny speck of a thing, IS in fact the EVERYTHING looking upon itself. Truly amazing how that works, but it does.
No one man or one woman is looking at everything as if it was out there. There is only EVERYTHING looking out from YOU within that tiny speck of a thing called one man and one woman.

No blest human survives death. I can't think of anything more absurd that the word 'survival'.
Knowledge is both a curse and a blessing simultaneously in my opinion.
