Eh? What do you mean, are you no longer dubious Dubious!?
I know, terrible arn't I?
Not really! But I would describe your limericks that way.
I would be offended if I didn't think all limericks are terrible.
They are not all terrible. There are many which are witty and humorous but if truth be told, I'm not at all fond of the form.

Well, I'm starting to feel offended. Could you provide an example of a witty humourous limerick?

There was a strange thing in Australia,
Whose details I now shall regale ya,
From an egg it was hatched,
With a duck bill attached,
But belonged to the phylum mammalia.

That's very good. Did you write it?

Thanks. Yes, I did indeed.

It's taken me day or two to get it just right, admittedly, hehe.

Very good Maia, see if you can think of one to do with a platypus.

A good one, excellent! Well there you have it Atto, witty and humorous as provided by Maia!

Yes, but it's not as good as the man that ate a dynamite pill. (his willy shot over a hill - that's a classic, can't ever be beaten)

Well, just because his willy shot over a hill doesn't make him a woman.

As a general observation, it's hard to know what's typical anymore. Insanity has no limitations one can describe as "typical". Each "new normal" is more insane than the last. Paradoxically, it seems the more we know, the shorter the future will be.

I was referring to fishpi's mean-spirited reaction. That was a wonderful limerick, but I knew that no males on here would acknowledge that.

I know what you were referring to. Kind of hard to miss! That's the reason I called it "a general observation". Yes, it is a great limerick. It's got wit and humour, all the ingredients a limerick is supposed to have and acknowledged it as such. So to say that no males here would acknowledge it is pure bullshit. Poetry, whether crap or great is seldom acknowledged anyways regardless of who wrote it.
