I wish I could see the humor there. However, please don't even bother to try to tell me. I don't want to know. :(
I have no idea what makes me laugh out loud at the most random things, it could be something I am silently thinking about, or it could be something I am looking at, but it doesn't take much to trigger me into fits of uncontrollable laughter. It can even be just the way someone looks at me, or speaks to me, which will set me off. I've often peed myself, because I am able quite easily to laugh hard and long. I have no idea what has made me to be this kind of person, but I'm not complaining about it, I love it.
That's a gift. :)

I so agree. Life can be wonderful once you realise how ridiculous it is.
What, EXACTLY, do you perceive to be absurd or ridiculous in Life, Itself, besides, OF COURSE, some of those 'things' that 'you', adult human beings, do and think?
I'm not sure there is much that I perceive as absurd or ridiculous apart from human activity.
If there is ANY 'thing', which you perceive as absurd or ridiculous apart from human activity, then will you SHARE 'that' with us here?

Sorry to hear that it's ridiculous for you right now, Harbal. Life doesn't need to be ridiculous and it shouldn't be in my book (but I'm "insane" of course). It can be better for everyone if industry would concentrate on things to sustain and heal people instead of spending so much on things to kill us.
But industry, itself, does NOT spend ANY 'thing' on 'things', which KILLS 'you', human beings, and "others". ONLY 'you', adult human beings, do those 'things'.
Apparently, I'm wrong about that too?

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Are you asking, or telling, us here?

The person who accepts the absurdity of life surrenders to reality and can find lasting peace. They face the harsh truth upfront freeing themselves of the anxiety of searching for meaning.

The absurdist is fully lucid and may move freely through their inner world. No illusions need be sustained. Their mind is free.

Do your posts make sense? Do any of our posts make sense? Are we suppose to find meaning in your posts? If the answer is "no", then what is the point of typing non-sensical scribbles on the screen expecting others to read them and make sense of them? If the answer is "yes", well then you've just defeated your argument.

This is no different than saying, "We can't know anything.", yet the one making the statement seems to know that we can't know anyything. Statements like these defeat themselves. They are a philosopher's language games - sometimes referred to as "deepities". They aren't trying to say anything important or profound, they are merely playing games with words.

The world does make sense, just not the sense that many would like to be the case. Words do make sense when used correctly. Just because we can organize a string of scribbles that follows the rules of some language does not mean that we've actually said anything. The rule that is often forgotten, or abandoned, in philosophical discussions is that the scribbles need to refer to some real state-of-affairs in the world for them to truly make sense and be meaningful. Where the world does not make sense does not give you free reign to just make stuff up and I'm not willing to fill gaps in knowledge with delusions. It's okay to say that I just don't know the answer right now, but I eventually will, and that makes sense of how we are born mostly ignorant yet we can learn with the powers of observation and logic.

You are entitled to your opinions, and so good for you..but I think I’ll stick to my own world, the one that I perceive, a world in which I was born to be an existentialist, a pessimist, and an absurdist all rolled into one. I prefer realism.

In my humble opinion, not everyone is born to make sense out of nothing. And I love that I’m free to feel and think this way.

Everyone should be allowed enough mental space to deal with their world in a way that will at least beget less trauma for them. Even having that seems to come at a terrible price in this world. I'm sorry for what I have done, Dontaskme. I tried to be of help but I cannot even be of help in my delusions, let alone any other state of mind available to me. I hope you continue to at least find solace in being able to contemplate your truth.

All I can say, is that I understand my limitations, I understand I will die, and I understand I will lose everything I once loved and cherished with an unconditional passion.

On the human level, I can experience the most delicious pleasures life has to offer, like laughter, and sex, and food and shelter, I know these are fleeting and temporal experiences that come and go, and will never be mine to personally own or possess forever. And is why life for the 'knower' is and will always be nothing more than a bittersweet experience.

On the absolute nondual level. I am unconditional love, this unconditional freedom, infinitely for eternity, that is both the dark and light respectively which I totally surrender to in every moment.

I'm not wanting anyone. All I wanted was to make a point. I don't see how not being a nationalist or a regionalist and being a humanist makes one insane. I'm a-political and a-religion - essentially anti-group think. I do not think humanity is all it's cracked up to be. We could end up destroying ourselves because of a lack of foresight. The insane ones are the ones that can't see past their wealth, power or social media "likes" and choose participate in cultural mass delusions that ignore basic science and reason.
