Or, are you asserting his generalizations are incorrect because you personally do not agree with them.
Since I'm blind, your two options are functionally identical.

No. By saying that you can only assume that your thoughts about blindness are the same as the thoughts of all blind people about blindness.

I never said or implied any such thing. His generalisations are incorrect because *at least one* blind person disagrees, which covers your first option very precisely.

I'm not a weasel. I don't wear shining armour. I would not rely on dattaswami's retouching service.

Oh. I understand. Then let us change the first option to ... a consensus. There, that should fix everything.

While I wasn't before, I shall now offer some generalisations, based on my experience.

Most blind people I've met, and I've met a lot, are perfectly content with their lives.

That's called anecdotal evidence.

How old is Hinduism and what is it's well of experience?
Is it greater or less than yours?

Is dattaswami's interpretation of Hinduism, correct?

Call it what you like. Personally speaking, in any subject, I would trust anecdotal evidence from people with experience of it than any other sort.

How old is Hinduism, and what is it's well of experience? Is it as limited as anecdotal evidence?

Hinduism is the basis of his comments, not his personal experience.

I don't doubt his knowledge and experience of Hinduism. Everything he says simply confirms why I disagree with Hinduism, or rather, the doctrine of karma.

His ability to blanket this forum with millions of words about it.

Perhaps I'm wrong and he knows very little. I'm not interested in finding out.

You're not alone. Many say the same, in their own way.
