Orange man is certainly no threat to Putin as Orange man is too busy be a fucking cheerleader to Putin as his tanks roll westwards.

Does calling Putin the world’s smartest leader qualify one for a pom-pom discount down at the cheerleader store?

DO you have a problem with truth or does everything have to be tribalism?

Well, you can troll your own thread with the same tired old mean and nasty, but there are other ways. The option is a venture into the unknown of objectivity, not wholly unknown for PN but rare in a situation where each participate in a discussion is tasked with providing a particular viewpoint, rather than all viewpoints.

Taking the objective route also has the benefit of being much less defensive, and shall we say testy, as it begins to lean towards informative, which allows folks the freedom to think and decide.

Have you heard adults describing Putin as a bully? US House Majority Leader Pelosi, Democrat, did.

Good grief. What a dimwit she be. Either she is an idiot, or she thinks those within range of her voice are idiots. Is she a playground monitor? Come to think of it, she's probably just broadcasting through crooked lipstick to those on her frequency.

- Threads clarify, and this one has clarified your admiration of Putin.
- So, don’t be shy just because he’s on the world’s shit-list, and because even Germany is sending weapons to Ukraine out of sympathy.
- Focus on the objective view and make your case for Putin's resistance to NATO expansionism.

- Question: why does Putin want neighboring countries to not be part of NATO?
- Question: why does he want neighboring countries to part of mother Russia?
- Feel free to bypass his methods, since they be old-time barbarism, what with targeting civilians and all.
- Crawl into his hide and peer at the world through his beady little eyes, if you dare.

Check this out.

The nuclear deterrent is obviously working for Putin, since he warned everyone to stay out of the fight, and since no other countries are interfering with the brutality of his "wet" work.

The thought that Nuclear is not a deterrent, is a justification for those countries who aid and abet Iran's furious centrifuging.

Unless ... other forces are involved.

How can you deny another country nukes when you have them yourself?

It's not irrational to seek to limit nuclear proliferation if it's done for humanitarian reasons. It's in the best interest of everyone to discourage countries from seeking to create nuclear weapons. Of course, the US government's behavior, invading and attacking other countries, has only provoked some states to seek them more vigorously in the name of self-defense.

the only people who can successfully stop Putin's invasion of Ukraine now are the Russian people. Just like the only ones who could have stopped the G. W. Bush administration from invading Iraq were US citizens. From this point forward it's up to the conscience of ordinary citizens of every country to keep world leaders in line. Biden is doing the right thing by keeping the US out of war.

I'll agree that Trump is sociopathic, which is why I'm glad Trump is not in power. Trump would probably have seen Russia's invasion as a personal slight against him and sought to retaliate. Biden is at least keeping the reigns in on things and seeking diplomatic routes to stave off the Russians. Believe it or not, Henry, Biden is doing the right thing.

That's a very good question. The "How" is for the same reason that I personally would deny an automobile, if I could, to anyone hellbent on using it to run me over. 'Specially if it was an electric car because those things can sneak up on you.
