Naturists come across as weird and creepy because because their weird and creepy, saying things like we just, "want to sunbathe and let our organs dangle and giggle while we exercise and feel closer to the mud and slime of nature." Don't wear clothes if you don't like. Just have a little consideration for others who won't be able to avoid having to see you in that state.

Actually when you think about it humans look pretty awful naked--a bit like giant baby birds. Hmm. If anything so-called 'naturism' renders people practically invisible. Is that the point?

There's a bit more to human sexuality than just clothes. Humans manage to find 'sex' in anything. As for what's going on in the mind of other humans, we can really only speak for ourselves--despite whatever little PC courses we might have done at Uni (generally something followed by the word 'studies')...

Sex is commercial. Together with snobbishness ,fear, and envy, sex sells stuff.
