There have always been times of difficulty and always will be. That's why there have been people in almost EVERY generation that have hypothesized that it was the "end times". There was a big stir when some people thought the second coming was going to be 1000AD.

And those "unholy" things you point to above have been characteristic in human civilization since its beginnings. There's very little particularly new or different about today as opposed to most other time periods, except that if anything things are less difficult today.

WW2 was probably far more difficult for many peoples than anything most of us pampered souls today can possibly imagine. The black plague was far worse. Neither of those seemed to be the end of the world. If there is anything comparable in difficulty today it's nowhere to be found in the developed countries. Be thankful.

And BTW, the Bible is not a valid source for proving your contention regarding contemporary viruses being man-made. Surely you should know better. A shameful display of ignorance for someone on a philosophy forum.

They should all hold together and inform each other. Which is why I say your metaphysic is worthless as a philosophy as pretty much every other word you say in the other parts contradict what you say about your metaphysic.
