Remember folks..what happened to Adam and Eve after they ate from the tree of knowledge, they were instantly banished from paradise.
But for why? As it was not because they ate from the Tree of Knowledge but from fear that they might then eat from the Tree of Life.
If life is eternal light flashing in and out of existence forever eternally appearing as infinite aspects of itself .. then there is nothing actually happening to a single person, I mean where would the single person fit in to this equation? who invented this one?
According to you I'd have thought the individual is one of the 'infinite aspects' looking at 'itself' from a unique position so fits quite nicely?

Now you have invented fear. Fear of pain, fear of sadness, fear of death, fear of torture, fear of suffering.
In that knowledge you search for relief of your imagined fear.
Enter love, compassion, empathy, care, acceptance, nirvana.
All these conditions do not exist except as illusory creations of the mind.
So no point in meditating and following the Buddhas path or is it that one can pick and choose so reincarnation is out from the Buddhas tale?

But there is only you here, and your mind cannot grasp that concept, but many minds do grasp the idea of oneness, and Bill is one of those who has. I recognised it immediately because I too have grasped the concept of eternal nothingness.
And yet it appears all about fear and misery from Bill? Whereas the Buddha laughed a lot and then laughed even more when he sahcked-up with a younger woman.
You do everything to make yourself feel good, and in doing so you are creating the opposite because when you lose the good feeling you then feel bad for not feeling good, and this works for every other feeling you want to have or avoid.
Well I agree that desire is an issue if one wants to not suffer but are you saying one should have no feelings about things?
By wanting anything at all you are creating the exact opposite to what you want in the exact moment,and that is the sickness of the human mind and is why life for human is like hell.
So if we don't want life would be heaven, I agree. So life is heavenly then.
The existence of opposites provides a meaning to a word. The word by itself is devoid of any meaning without the presence of it's opposite, for example; good is known because of it's opposite bad, otherwise what good is could never be known. The opposite is a word as well, which gets it's meaning from the word it gives meaning to, which is nevertheless without a meaning by itself. Therefore, since opposites are in everyday life, it only means that the quantum nature of meanings is a word with it's opposite in the same moment. This implies that the meaning which you do not want is also present in the meaning that you do want, for example right or wrong. If man understood this mysterious phenomenon of the opposites in the mind, every relationship would be harmonious.
Why does this 'quantum' nonsense always arise in such posts?
Harmonious is just another word for neutrality or balance - Life it basically neutral,it doesn't care about your opinion of it. ...

I can see the order out of the chaos of Bill's mind. It takes a lot of guts to be totally direct in a world of political correctness gone mad/unnatural...some people have the confidence to say out loud what other's only dare to think about ...to point to the way life actually is - instead of how you prefer it to be takes a very enlightened person. So we are lucky to have Bill here at the PN forum. ...
But we've already had Nietzsche, et al. If Bill is so enlightened then why isn't he laughing?
We don't ALL want/have to continually wallow in stuff to see it and understand it. There is MUCH to see, and many ways to see, and no single path or methodology. (That's my cute little rhyme for the day.)
