I've done two of these but I think this " & wrote twenty-five books" is very funny given this "When you are deluded and full of doubt, even a thousand books of scripture are not enough. When you have realized understanding, even one word is too much. ..."

That pretty much sums it up.

Of course I know. What I don't understand is how you can use such stuff when your post before decried it?

I've never stated my academic credentials. But I don't base my credentials on the minority years I spent, long ago, at university. Fuck, I can barely recall them now. Most don't. What matters is what you do with the rest of your years, with the thinking and research abilities you aquired, not living on your laurels from a degree no one can even remember giving you, except when it's time to ask for funds from alumni. Typical academic snobbery and shallowness is all you're displaying, Bill. My brother in law was a double PhD physics and biochemistry. So what? All that matters is he created the circuitry and logic for the first insulin pump circa 1980 or so.... An acquaintance at the University of Toronto has 17!!!! doctorates. He's accumulated them whilst teaching there. Again, so what? Does that make him 17 times the researcher? No, he's an academic hoarder of opportunity.

Unless he's been drinking..... again.
Bill, you know shit, and I'm not saying you're qualified to be a scatologist either. And as alcohol is just yeast shit anyways, you also eat it.

Thanks doc. Yeah, I see how easily misquotes can happen here. It only took me six edits to fix lol!

I once heard that Dean Martin only drank Moderately, in fact he had a case of "Moderately" in his dressing room right now.

In my case, I just lost the taste for alcohol, and only think of it when I'm really thirsty. After I drink water, the urge disappears. I spontaneously gave up everything in my twenties, save stimulants, and never looked back. My doctor is trying me on a low-dose amphetamine to see if I'm self-medicating with excessive caffeine and nicotine due to undiagnosed ADHD.
