US might have contributed to the creation of ISIS and Al Queda but "Taliban" is created by the world-wide funding of Wahabi Universities preaching the doctrine of the Caliphate all paid for by Saudi-Arabia.
Saudi Arabia is funding the ideologues that want to bring about an International Caliphate.
There is no doubt that in the vacuum of government caused by the US invasion, Opium production rocketed, and much of that cash went to fund Al Queda and other nascent terrorist projects.
I'm also pretty sure that individual Americans may well have got their noses in the trough to sell drugs illegally, But the US made money from the arms race. The government had no need to get its hands dirty.

But there is no solution in invading the wrong countries all the time. If you are going to invade then you need to go to the source.
The west have attacked directly or by proxy with Israel, or some other dictator: Syria, Lybia, Lebanon, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Ethiopia, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Kuwait, when ALL The time the prime mover of the wahabi doctrine is Saudi Arabia.
This is like attacking during WW2; Belgium, France, Italy, Holland, Scandinavia, whilst all the time leaving Nazi Germany alone.
