Whites kill blacks everyday in the USA, they usually wear uniforms.

Walking up to people on the street and shooting them is wrong. The colour of the shooter and those shot doesn't change that.

True, but as it is a motivating force in the USA, it might indicate that there are ways to ameliorate the frequency of such killings.
Gun nuts are often in the habit of quoting a lack of correlation between gun ownership and gun killings. Switzerland is often offered as an example. But race relations in Switzerland are good. Maybe there is a clue here?

Just heard about this belatedly this morning when I caught the headline on my email provider. Haven't had the desire to watch whatever horrible videos may exist. A tragedy to be sure, but so is the quality of much mainstream journalism in the US. Families and friends of the murdered journalists have my condolences, though.

I'm sure they will be very happy to receive them.

The only reason this shooting even got into the news is because it happened on live television, not because it's in any way newsworthy. People dying at the hands of shitheads with guns happens all day and every day in every town and city in the USA. More people die from gun violence every month in the USA than the entire death tool from the 9/11 attack by al-Qaeda. Every second American is a fucking terrorist.

When they talk about "Down Under," are they talking about your heads?
