What do you think the IC2, Dark South European, Melanochroid, Greeks will do about European Union society?
You're talking Greek to me, but the only Greek word I know is Ouzo.

Oh! Sorry. News Link below.

GREEK DEBT CRISIS
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-33311240

The Greek debt crisis is a European Racial problem that many people will not admit. That is why I raise the subject among the philosophical intelligentsia where I feel confident that fertile ground can be found for intelligent discussion on this very sensitive subject.

A two (2) speed Europe is the only solution. The Holy Roman Empire didn't work and the Iron Curtain was too thin and at the wrong angle. I think most people with a good knowledge of history will agree.

Any comments?

In my view the notion of an economic union without a political union was one which was always doomed to fail and the notion of political union between such diverse cultures with a historical legacy of millennia of conflict is a utopian fantasy. It looks like the beginning of the end for the EU experiment but it is not inconceivable that a better unification model might be resurrected from the ashes.

What models do you think could be resurrected for the ashes of European history?

I think something new is coming.

It's probably a bit early to speculate but I can't really see how a unified currency could work without a uniform taxation system applied equally to all countries which become signatories to it. This is only one example but essentially all the economic variables would have to be standardised and this would have to include labour laws, tariffs, subsidies, environmental standards, occupational health and safety, etc. I'm not certain that Europe is yet ready for such a political unification overnight but it may be possible to implement such unifying protocols in stages over a period of decades.

Ying Yang Finances of Europe?

Greece has missed the deadline for a €1.5bn (£1.1bn) payment to the International Monetary Fund (IMF), hours after eurozone ministers refused to extend its bailout.
But the ministers say they will discuss a last-minute request from Greece for a new two-year bailout on Wednesday.
Greece is the first European Union country to fail to repay a loan to the IMF and is now formally in arrears.
There are fears that this could put Greece at risk of leaving the euro.
The IMF confirmed that Greece had failed to make the payment, shortly after 22:00 GMT on Tuesday.
"We have informed our Executive Board that Greece is now in arrears and can only receive IMF financing once the arrears are cleared," said IMF spokesman Gerry Rice.
