I will say that if the above is the accepted definition of Heaven, then the critics are correct, Heaven would become 'drop dead boring' after a long time doing the same thing over and over again. There are not enough different things to do, or places to visit, to occupy an intelligent being for that long a time.

Many years ago I was having a conversation with my father and we started talking about Heaven. Apparently someone told him that in Heaven everyone would spend all day praising God and bowing down and worshiping God, (this was apparently their idea of Heaven). He looked at me and said "If that's what Heaven is like, I'm not sure I want to go there." I really didn't have an answer for him at the time.

I'm not trying to ram a definition of eternity down anyones throat. If I couldn't find a reasonable argument for the endless time version of it, I would assent to the timeless version, and admit my mistake in asking the question in the first place. I'm just asking that, since either can be argued, that we can stick to my version. I'd not work off a consensus, if the consensus is invalid.

I'm thrilled that you brought up eternity as you did, Doc. I've learned something from it.

Ned, come back lol. I loved your wife's itinerary. It' very similar to what I imagine I'd do, in my more positive moments. Amazing how close it is to mine, actually!

These days though, I'd probably defer to Henry's version, having settled on a stance of dystheism. You made me laugh, Henry!

"You made me laugh, Henry!"

Despite my poor showing with certain small kitchen appliances, I do have my moments... ;)
