Archaeologists know that bricks were invented before there was so much as a mud hut in the area known as Rome.

Rome does not represent a system that made most use. Only a fool would think so.

The British Rail system used more bricks than Rome ever did.

There are more brick in the Brighton Viaduct than exist in ANY structure in Rome.



The Wall of China is the structure most quoted in "seen from Space" mentions. It is NOT Roman and it is NOT made of bricks.
