So you are obviously see a role for government in terms of regulations.

Oh, yes, however an independent profit-making organization actually determines the standards and handles the inspections. And you can forget about those inspection certificates and permits hanging on the wall of restaurants and other establishments. They would no longer exist.

But aren't these two statements you have posted are in conflict.
Firtstly, you say that economic activity that poses a threat to consumers NEEDS TO BE REGULATED BY GOVERNMENT.
Secondly, you say that an INDEPENDENT PROFIT-MAKING ORGANIZATION will determine the standards.
Given the many times you have said that governments shouldn't operate, support, or promote anything at the very least they are acting as a supporting role in you second statement.

It is the responsibility of government to see that people are assured of certain levels of economic protection by paying for that protection, which is handled by private profit-making firms. It is not the function of government to directly provide this protection.

Yes I know, this would be a supportive role of government.

The only proper function of government is social integration, like a traffic cop keeping people from running over each other. Government should not own, operate, support or promote anything.

Yes, I know this is why you have a contradiction. I's still a supportive role.

I don't know what you're talking about. I never have contradictions on spiritual, political or economic matters.
