Just imagine, though. If Tish the Dish is convicted, what if that conviction invalidates all of the convictions that she won while she was a corrupt public servant? All those people in jail for doing what she did would be released*. The headline would read … Trump Releases Convicted Criminals, and even worse, the TDS afflicted would take that as an affirmation of their gospel and inquire no further.

*In theory. In practice, it just might be too much of a bother for Democrats to straighten out and they likely would just let Tish's victims continue to rot in prison, that is, if there are any in prison. Maybe financial reparations would be in order for those free but with a criminal record because of her prosecutions.

Somehow I have a suspicion that you don't look at source materials.

"leftists in Washington" ---- WHAT is a "leftist"? Have you a clue. Which of the standard works of leftist thought have you read? Can you distinguish garden variety "liberals"from "leftists". For example, can you point out the "leftist" member of the Senate?

"The Separation of Church and State on non-existent constitutional grounds" ---- The FEDERAL Constitution originally only ruled out FEDERAL entanglement of church and states. STATES were allowed to have established churches. To what extent (under the Constitution now) a state could reinstitute entanglement a matter for the Court. Federal entanglement forbidden by clear language.

BTW --- that was NOT by not considering. During the debates on the matter it WAS suggested that "establishment" meant any specific Christian sect (not Christianity in general). Likewise forbidding meant "any Christian sect". Those defending the clause made clear they were thinking about non-Christian religions.
