Maybe he enjoyed playing cops and robbers so much, that he thinks it's the only reality, and doesn't seems to realise he's an adult now, and adults usually act responsibly, knowing the difference between childhood games and real life. He doesn't seem to understand that we need to have cars and airplanes, otherwise we'd all be confined to living under just one roof, so to speak, we would never have spread ourselves so wide and far as we have done without them.Harbal wrote: ↑Thu May 11, 2023 8:37 amCars and aeroplanes were part of the real, adult world, whereas we knew that guns were just part of the fantasy world of cowboys and indians, and the war films we watched. I suppose those who hadn't got guns out of their systems by the time they grew up were the ones who joined the army.
Actually, the more you say about guns, the more suspicious I am becoming that you are mostly talk, with not much behind it. I'm starting to wonder if you are a bit of a fantasist, yourself.
So comparing cars and airplanes to guns is just completely daft. But then the brainwashed people do tend to be a bit daft, it's the only way they know how to make sense of their world I suppose, by believing they are not safe in their world without the protection of a gun, and they call that Love because mummy and daddy had guns and so it was normal for them to have guns as well, they couldn't find it in them to break the brainwashed cycle of monkey see monkey do brain dead mentality.
