Run Lola Run is a story about a young woman who has her continuity stopped by events initiated by her life-and-death need.
Stopping the continuity places her in a new world … among other things.

I really love that film.
Hey Dalek Prime. Still like the name. You sound peaceful these days.
I feel a bit more at peace, Walker. It's a good feeling.

Michael is young in this scene, still learning about life although he's already learned a lot.
In time he discovers that knowing the truth (thinking) isn’t living the truth (karma).
Classic line.

sadly the prior 10 seconds or so of Apu's Father on his death bed and rising up to drink from the Ganges has been cut out from the above link.
he dies, then the birds - which we see in the link take flight (i.e. birds represent father's death - taking flight is his soul taking flight).
its a great scene, sadly 1/2 of which is cut off in the above link.
get the movie and view it of you can.
great movie - as is the prior and follow up of the trilogy.
though depressing too (it has humanity - so depressing in a real world way and so ok - not in a nihilistic sort of way)
i loathe nihilism

be advised, this is the most grueling movie I've personally seen (have the bluray of BTW) - it will take 2 weeks off your lifespan with each viewing.
so I've no watched it since about 2 yrs ago.

oh wow - "nothing but a man" has been re-uploaded on YT (copypricks ordered its removal 3-4 yrs ago - seems some patriot forgot about or never got the memo and has re-introduced the opportunity of discovery of maybe the best movie ever made (top 10 for sure) - and to buy the DVD of after discovering and viewing on YT (in spite of copyreich gestopo corporate lawyers demanding me not to know nor discover the movie in order to view and then buy it).
thank you Patriot for uploading one of the best movies ever made - yet not known!

to add - i'm really pissed this movie is not on Bluray - its Criterion level stuff, and deserves a remaster to 1080.
as i said, its in the top ten of all time movies.
