Yes - I see now, okay. And the birds, yes - high frequencies must, because of their own high frequency singing, make them consider what in the hell is making that sound. As we're on this subject - In Spain when happily painting to classical music - a lizard, spider or fly would enter the music filled space and I was interested to consider, briefly, what might be going on within them in relation to the music. In my mind I happily excepted we were all digging the sounds together. This extended to the occasion when a spider or fly landed on my painted canvas - I considered it as a blessing, as a sign that it was good - crazy, yet for me at the time - interesting.

They did a study with monkeys in a bifurcated tunnel. At each end there was either music, silence or noise. The monkeys showed no preference between music and noise, and preferred silence to either.

I contend that this is because they were not playing monkey music.

Also, the study did not try to determine if there were any individuals who preferred music, they only sought to determine if monkeys in general preferred music.

Oh, and I think 'groovy dancing girl' sped up all or part of her video to impart that effect.
