I found out today that people can find out where someone lives from photos they post-- with some kind of gps on smart phones. There are other ways as well apparently, which is why you should always post a screenshot of a photo rather than the photo itself.

I've had it years, and no longer actually use it, but it's still up, and there you'll find not only my name, but also links to my school, place of work, and so on.

I tend to agree with this. In fact, I was the one who convinced Maia to jettison the photo she used over at ILP. That's why it disappeared.
