Consider cutting the root that causes you to forget mindfulness. Stanley, when you know how your mind works, then you will see how to sustain even fragile leaves with your food. Then, all the leaves will get a proper diet, even those turning scarlet until the end, and life will blossom for all at the table.

Stanley is Shiva the destroyer. Blanche is Vishnu, the preserver. Stella is Brahma, new life. Stanley and Blanche are naturally married into the same mind, and as symbolic parts of the whole, at dualistic odds.

If these common touchstones of understanding don’t relate to what you know, then what meaning do you see in the clip, that you can communicate with a common touchstone other than the clip?

per my personal ignorance - i never got to actually watch A Streetcar named desire, nor On the Waterfront (this latter is better IMO) - nor did i know Elia Kazan (turncoat - just noting his actions in the 50's (i might have done the same/hope not, but will never know - not being in his shoes - he remained a great director) directed those two movies i've had 40 yrs to view and never did on VHS nor DVD nor "TV" - until I bought the "Elia Kazan" "collection" - all 20 or so movies for 45 bucks, last year - excellent deal, so bought the collection for peanuts and left the above movies for last viewing - which was just a month ago!!!!!! i watched all the other 20 or so the prior year. So I admit my ignorance of concerning that movie, and that i never viewed it until last month. (I really do not like Marlon Brando - think his is a poor actor and so why i left those for last for viewing (blasphemy i know).

I enjoyed your Hindu interpretation of Kazan's work - seemed apt to me .
