Justice the whole society will receive happiness which nature assigns to them. Even when a person is in poverty or illness, or any other misfortunes, all things end for good as far as that person can attain a likeness of good; which is the pursuit of virtue.
Injustice arises when opinion are subjected to greediness instead of good principle. The unjust in order to gain need followers to butter them up but when they have no longer any need of followers abandon those butter ups; because a tyrant is never a friend, this is unknown to them. Injustice runs from law and reason.
Injustice needs to be reproached, it because walks about without any shame; and there is no conceivable foolishness they may not be guilty of all theatre. This happens even in good people there is wild-beast nature that peers out in sleep in us all. Concealment prevents the gentler element; temperance, justice, and wisdom the most perfect harmony of body and mind to be free mind into a union better far than any combination.
Good is linked to every mind and without it every action appears arbitrarily entangled in the world of mere appearance. Good has a place higher that leads to order and virtue.

Hi Barbara,
Barbara Brooks wrote:Arising_uk,
The saving grace of true opinion is bravery. Courage is a mighty agent, under all circumstances courage preserves, is the mightiest of all solvents in mind.
I'll understand this as a compliment as I understand myself to be one who stands by his opinions as they are based upon the best of ones Reason.
But what makes a person virtuous is justice. No doubt justice is somewhere: I struggle to catch sight of it, if you see it first, let me know so that it does not creep away, pass out of sight and escape.
You'd have to explain what you mean by "virtuous" before I'd agree that "justice" is the solution. You'd also have to explain what you mean by "justice".
Justice, there is no path, little light if I go about looking for what I already have I look not at what I am seeking, but what is far off in the distance; therefore I fail to recognize justice.
If there is no path then I assume you mean we have to 'trail-blaze' towards an identifiable destination? So are you saying that if you take a break and look back and reflect upon the trail, you won't be able to resume? How so?
Justice is fairness, evenhandedness, it is the only virtue, which remains in a society when all the other virtues, temperance and courage and wisdom, are gone, therefore, l lower ye my bucket where I stand.
So you are abandoning the present in the hope of some far-off future?

Arising_uk,
Virtue is spiritual life, requires giving up self to find self-consciousness in the world. Virtue carries out the good in the world. Virtue and the world, each in unity and opposite moments, each processes rules and uniqueness.
The virtuous has to be brought under the discipline and control of inherent good, however self is consciousness.
Virtue originates in self-consciousness, upsets the established regular order of the world, overtakes self which is under the influence of conceit, becomes principled.
Virtue lies in conquering the world and being good. Being virtuous consists solely in the surrender of the entire feeling; these peculiarities are no longer asserted or needed. The self surrenders its individuality to the course of the world good. This is virtue when the entire personality has to supersedesndividuality;
Nothing short of the most finished picture is the idea of good. The highest truth worthy of attaining is good. Only good become useful and advantageous. The idea of good is the highest virtue; everyone pursues it and makes it the end of all action they shine with radiant knowledge.
Justice is the excellence of virtue. Look at the city within self, pay attention that no disorder occurs such as overabundance or want. Justice is more perfect more precious than many pieces of gold it imparts harmony and friendship is the law of human life, the most complete mastery over the entire human being.

Grasp the truth and you will have no difficulty seeing that there is a conscious universal end that dominates our actions, universally lifts us out of the life of chance and change, into world peace universality; only as citizens that we are real and substantial character.
Philosophers must make this their work in life, into everything that flows like a gentle wind from a purer region.
This is why musical training is the most effective instrument into the mind of a philosopher, because we find rhythm and harmony finds grace. Only when a musician knows the notes exactly can he or she ever become musical?
The same as the philosopher must harmonize and know the essential forms of temperance, courage, liberality, magnificence, and their kindred. Noble and good is the spirit of harmony turns out to be more valuable than knowledge has a place higher that leads to order and virtue. Reason is said to be the creator of knowledge and of truth. The spirit of harmony exceeds truth and knowledge is deemed to be like this spirit of harmony but has a place higher that leads to order and virtue.

Come noble philosophers rise out of the state of unconsciousness into this universal spirit. Philosophy, in the first place, gives not shallow speech making but true thoughts that exalts infinitude of ideas, about reason, truth itself, justice, courage, and temperance.
purpose can take a negative view towards the world and turns it round into a objective view; has not only positive significance but also becomes something is through labor. The process is twofold, self and labor. In order to succeed in attaining and finding satisfaction in anything labor must enter without any reservation.

Wisdom comes into view, as being good and good is truly clearly a kind of knowledge and the only knowledge worthy to be called wisdom,
The principle of Knowledge is wisdom, pure intelligence, insight, and understanding. When observing something, there was no difficulty in getting from this a conception of some other thing is like or unlike it which had been forgotten and which was associated with this. The very point of mind derives from the senses.

Philosophy ascends beyond mere opinion, from ideas, through ideas, and in ideas philosophy ends.
The most important part of any accomplishment is the beginning. That is where success in attainment is formed. But, what innumerable causes in life cripple and distract the philosopher, I mean those goods of life, beauty, wealth, rank, and connections, you know the sort of thing.
Philosophers must start straight away no matter the circumstances precede; with all accomplishments, fear comes first. For negativity is essential and implicit beginning, a means, and end for what seems to be a reality is implicitly our fundamental nature, which has objectivity. Talent is nothing but self with a definite subjective internal purpose to be actualize.
Damon told Socrates that when modes of music change, the fundamental laws of the society always change with them. The help of music gains the habit of good order, this habit will accompany self in all their actions and growth and if there be any fallen places will raise them up.

Plato’s the Republic, Book V Socrates talks about those who see the many and who yet neither see absolute nor can follow any guide who points the way thither; those who see the many and not absolute and the like, such gentle persons may be said to have opinion but not knowledge. However, those who see the absolute, eternal, and immutable may be said to know, and not have only opinion.
Also, when a philosopher, a diplomat and scientist meet in one, Socrates tells us humankind could rest from troubles. Philosophy demands not superficial consideration but profound eternal truth, justice, courage, and temperance. In addition, they are not part time lovers but always sorting out knowledge is justly termed the philosopher, one who is curious to learn and is never satisfied.
The true philosopher has the gift of memory, courage and magnificence. The philosopher goes to the first principle by successive steps, which are an aid to any sensible object; ideas, through ideas, and in ideas end not the turning over of the Monte, but the turning round of a mind passing from a day which is little better than night to the true day of being, meaning an ascent from below, if we are affirmed to be true philosophers.

In “The Prince” by Machiavelli tells that a wise philosopher ought always to follow the path beaten by great people and to imitate those who have been best. A philosopher is like a person who has fallen among madness but will not join in but neither is able single-handed resist all the madness.
Seeing that philosophers would be throwing their life away without doing any good yhr the philosopher holds their peace and goes their own way. Like in the storm driven by winds the philosopher hurry along, retires under a shelter and observes the madness, content if only they can live their own life.

The philosophical nature desire is strong in one direction will have desires weaker in others; and will be drawn off like a stream into another channel. Drawn towards knowledge in every form absorbed in the pleasures of the mind, I mean, if he were a true philosopher. Such a one is sure to be temperate.
Another criterion the philosophical nature has also to be considered, nothing can be more hostile than meanness, cowardly and mean nature have no part in true philosophy. Philosophers are not covetous or mean, or a boaster, or cowardly, they are never unjust or hard in dealings
Then how can philosopher’s magnificence of mind and spectator of all time and all existence, think much of human life?
Observe the signs whether a person is just and gentle, or rude and unsociable; even in youth the philosophical nature from the un-philosophical are distinguished.
There is another point whether he or she has a pleasure in learning or has not, for no one will love that which gives anguish and in which after much toil they make little progress. Also, if forgetful what is learned will their mind not be an empty vessel? Then the mind that forgets cannot be ranked among genuine philosophic natures; we must insist that the philosopher should have a good memory?
All these qualities, which we have been enumerating noble, gracious, the friend and kindred of truth, justice, courage, temperance go together, and are they not, in a manner, necessary to our souls, which is full and perfect being we can entrust the Society.
Philosophers have the gift of a good memory, and are quick to learn, -- You cannot find fault with such a gift the god of jealousy itself could find no fault with such a present and when perfected by years and education, and to these only we can entrust the Society.

In history, there is a gallery of noble philosophers and leaders that were willing to exalt profound thought. Look back to the epoch in time that took place many ages ago is in need of revival today.
The first philosophy came from Asia Minor, philosophy by Thales, according to Bertrand Russell, "Philosophy begins with Thales author of the Ionic sect "father of science” The culture then in Athens was in a state of deterioration. Philosophy was planted proper in Greece by Thales a person of rare genius. In Greece at that time, the scholars had considered sciences, the sun, mountains, earth, sea, and rivers as independent powers and to be revered as gods.
According to out best calculation he was born the first year of the 35th Olympiad 640 B.C. One of his maxim is, “It is not the many words that have most meaning." There is a science named after him called Thalassography, which means science that deals with the sea. “ Water is everything that everything takes it origin from water and resolves it self into the same.” His first principle was that the universe was an all-embracing whole developed germ and water was all-powerful sustainer of life.
In the latter part of Thales, life he studied philosophy it was at a time of Greek transition the society had fallen into such disunity buried in a quagmire in such a way, all duties, and rights roamed unregulated. A transition from a patriarchal system of kings into one of laws and orders, Changed a patriarchal system of kings into one of law and order Thales seized the practical essence of consciousness in so far as philosophical and speculative thinking.

The keepers of philosophy are courageous temperate, devout, free and dedicated wholly to upholding truth, making it their know-how.
Philosophers must watch over like good farmers nurturing cultivating knowledge not in an aggressive way but gently and with a view of soothing and removing the dislike of philosophy.
Socrates laid out a pattern of the perfect philosopher for those who desire to see and help set one’s own house in that order. Whether such perfection exists, or ever will exist, no matter philosophers will live after that manner.
Then those who in ignorance of the truth passions are mixed with pains live a mere shadow of life fighting about the shadow of Helen at Troy. Hegel believed a person who looks first at the trees and sticks only to them does not get an overall view of the woods and becomes lost and confused.
Philosophers follow truth, the truest passion in the highest degree Passion into action, satisfaction in the company of reason and under the guidance of knowledge pursues after winning the passion,
Spinoza proclaimed knowledge as oneness of thought while Descartes declared knowledge to be science. Leibniz avowed knowledge to be a higher sense of self-sufficient individuality.
The inner pure ideal self sheer implicit is only visible to the mind but the absolute end of anything. Only when self comes forward asserts not just a certainty but reason in other words, asserts true self over against world.
What is self but something simple, something, which contains in it multiple qualities, hidden not yet the real merely abstract. For to enter into existence, to be something distinct, thought like water must be clear and transparent and still contain within physical and chemical and organic possibilities is true self.

There are three types of knowledge; physical, theoretical and dialectical each emerges necessarily from the other and in doing so each results from the other.
Physical knowledge uses objects for experiment and the vital activity of living purpose. Theoretical knowledge and its companions logic and hypothesis, is the intellectual and the visible world. Dialectical knowledge is pure intellect entails thinking about things in for the sake of knowledge; purely speculative thinking that has the power of elevating the mind to the highest principles.
Dialectic knowledge draws the mind to contemplate nature. This branch of knowledge approach is partly practical and partly theoretical to further constructive and deductive scientific studies. The only knowledge of the three that does away with hypothesis and goes direct to the first principle of Nature is dialectic knowledge. It starts on the discovery purely by knowledge only. You will not easily find a more difficult study or not many, as difficult dialectic is a kind of knowledge in which the best learning natures should be trained in and never give up the study.

The faculty of knowledge skillfully disposed in our mind is with a view to render things clear and intelligible.
Kant supposed all knowledge reduces to opinion, and every consciousness has intellect. He was an 18th-century German philosopher from the Prussian city of Königsberg (now Kaliningrad, Russia). Kant compared knowledge to the earth; that if you wanted to describe the meaning. Must first look at, drive out its existence, and lay its parts out one by one.
Spinoza was a Dutch philosopher of Portuguese Jewish origin who wrote his greatest work on Ethics, asserted knowledge to be oneness of thought. Descartes’ was a highly influential French philosopher, mathematician, scientist, and writer. He has been dubbed the "Father of Modern Philosophy,” he thought knowledge to be science.
Leibniz was, along with René Descartes and Baruch Spinoza, one of the three greatest 17th century rationalists, but his philosophy also looks back to the scholastic tradition and anticipates modern logic and analysis devoted his attention on knowledge as self-sufficient individuality.
The principle of knowledge is wisdom, insight, understanding, and observation it embraces nothing less than the entire virtue of mind. We cannot think in terms of detached unrelated concepts, rational thought must be considered, a more thorough and thoughtful examination of knowledge.

As children, we knew nothing and not knowing anything accepted opinions given to us until knowledge gentle hand comes to our aid and lift us up to understanding.
Intelligence is in every mind as the pilot capable of receiving the food proper to it, rejoices at beholding knowledge is replenished and made good, but when one is unable to follow, they fail to behold truth and sink beneath the double load of forgetfulness and mere opinion.
The mind that has seen the most of truth is a philosopher, or artist, or some musical and loving nature.
