What is wrong with cherry picking? The present pope has some good about him and some not good. It's my work to decide for myself which behaviour is good and which not good.
Moral principles are the criteria of good and not good. Is applying moral principles the same as cherry picking?
What is wrong with cherry picking?
You seem to have missed the point of the argument.
Answer this: does cherry picking find "tenets"??
When someone cherry picks all the negative things about homosexuality - are they then the tenets of Xianity ?
I see, thanks. So cherry picking is when someone picks only what supports his bias.
How would you define the phrase?

Sculptor me ol' chum. Where did Christ tell blokes not to fall in love, indeed, have sexual relations with each other?
btw. You have upset me with Matthew quotes which is my favourite gospel - only read each night when I was under the duress of this God entity around 1998...I decided, well, about time I actually read some of this stuff. I will research what you posted - electronic searches of my electronic buy bull can come in very handy - especially when dealing with evangelists, and all their preconceived ideas.

As I recall, he said if a man can't be celibate, he should marry.

..so you drew what conclusion? - rather than wank off each night he should.........marry....a bloke or a woman?

I draw no conclusion: it's not my book or religion. I mentioned it only in response to your question. Jesus didn't seem to forbid sex (though he seemed to frown on it).

Well. If that's the case Y does God come across as bisexual when I am on the right path, in heaven and he is doing me every which way.

On another tack - did you give up on Alpha Two?

No, I'm an inconstant creature, and I've left you hangin'.
I'll tell you what I think by Friday.

It will have to wait - I finally fixed my PC interface to my VR headset today - I won every stage of the Poland WRC!! Amazing what I can achieve without drink driving. It is so realistic..in VR with da Thrustmaster force feedback steering wheel and of course, peddles.

I don't define it. I never use the phrase. I accept your definition, for the time being anyway.
