Anyway, why shouldn't people be allowed to listen to music just because you consider it "crap and superficial"? Just about every type of music imaginable is disliked by someone so if everyone has their way why don't we just ban all music. Oh wait, I think they already tried that somewhere.

I said this news made me happy because I don't like that singer and her music , I didn't say it's right to prevent people from listening any kind or anybody's music , I was just giving my opinion . but In that case which happened in Indonesia , I'm with protesting but not with threatening , I mean they have the right to speak their opinion and say they refuse a specific singer making a concert in their country , but I'm not with threatening or anything that can be used to force that singer to not come or to make the concert be canceled .

Those tragic and denied violence jobs took place by Islamic extremism (You see I admit the truth) but let me give an idea about the whole story of terrorism in Egypt, In the years of 90's Islamic extremism was obvious and extremist groups were known by the government and press . But in those two cases in 2004 and 2005 , many countries in the world faced such violence jobs (london bombs if you remember) , but with time the government here just like in the U.K , U.S and others managed to enhance it's security abilities and that's exactly the thing behind the improvement tourism witnessed in Egypt in the last decade regardless those two terroristic jobs in 2004 and 2005 .

People who protest singers and comedians usually have too much free time on their hands or they want to sort their priorities.

As for the protesters: if any of Indonesia's impressionable youth had overlooked the the Lady Gaga phenomenon before now then you can guarantee that situation has been reversed by all the free publicity.

The hell it isn't. Even if the poor girl has the charge thrown out of court, the Muslim population is likely to kill her, as has been reported in the news.
