bobevenson wrote:As far I as can figure out, this "Occupy Wall Street" bullshit is a protest against corporate greed and the inequality of wealth. What I'd like to know is, what do these protesters want the government to do about it? Maybe Bill can answer this question for me (but please do it in actual words instead of pictures and empty space).
It is not necessarily for the people to know what to do about it, that is Power's job. If Power is Government then they need to work it out. But Government appears to be owned by the institutions/corporations that the protesters protest about. So things are pretty fucked up at this stage.

The LEAST the protesters/people can do is exactly what they are doing, hitting the streets and vocalising that they do not accept the status quo. They speak out against the enemy, the enemy has again been identified. This is the first great and evolutionary step in what will be one of the battles of the Century.

Look, guys, none of you are being very helpful. You've got a bunch of malcontents that are spending all of their time creating a lot of problems, and they don't even know what they want, and it appears that neither do you. To put it in very blunt language that I hope will register in your brains, What the fuck would you want the government to do if a fucking genie came out of a bottle and granted your wish???

Why do they trouble you so much?

I think it's very rude to describe bankers as 'fucking lunatics'. This kind of language is not irenic. (Look it up). The greedy stupid self-worshipping twats whose fanatic gambling has turned our entire economic reality into shite have every right to be on the streets. In fact, I think that's exactly where they should be!

They don't trouble me at all, but I'm sure they trouble the people who have to put up with their antics.

All right, everybody, the Rhodes Scholar invites us to look up the meaning of his lofty words! Of course, he doesn't tell us that this is merely a subterfuge to avoid giving us his government solution for mollifying the Occupy Wall Street protesters (or to put it another way, to solve a problem that leaves him clueless).

i think you're pissed off because you actually had to look up 'irenic'!
ROFLMFAO! (Look that up, Bob!)
PS. I don't have 'government solutions', whatever the fuck a 'government solution' is supposed to be. If the problem is that there are people on the streets that Bobevenson wishes were elsewhere or nowhere, that is Bobevenson's problem, and Thundril has no need, no obligation, and no inclination to try to propose 'government solutions' for it. Bobevenson might consider deploying an Uzi, an argument, or a bit of devastating wit, (if he can find one) to disperse the undesirables. Me, i'm happy to leave them where they are..

Are you afraid to admit that you don't know what the fuck is going on, or what to do about it?
Why do you even take a position on the subject? Oh, I forgot, you're from Cardiff.

No I'm not from Cardiff. Cardiff is where I live just now. In our modern world, people don't stay where they're born. And not only do I know what the fuck is going on. in this particular matter under discussion, i AM what the fuck is going on.

OK. Oh, by the way, about 99% of the people in the world stay where they're born. I guess you're that 1% the Occupying Wall Streeters keep talking about.
