Arising_uk wrote:"Sex-trafficking" is a euphemism for enforced slavery.
"Trafficking" is just a pejorative term used by people who are part and parcel of oppression and subjugation to describe things that they in their imperfect wisdom think should be outlawed by tyrannical governments. Those bastards are just waiting for the day they can call McDonald's hamburgers fast-food trafficking!

"Human trafficking
(Redirected from Sex trafficking)
For the miniseries, see Human Trafficking (TV miniseries).
Human trafficking is the trade in human beings, most commonly for the purpose of sexual slavery or forced labor, or for the extraction of organs or tissues[1][2] and even surrogacy and ova removal.[3]" --Wikipedia--
It doesn't matter Bob, all that matters is that both you and Arising_uk now understand that you have been arguing about two different things, unless now that you are aware, you still see that "sex trafficking" 'as defined,' is OK.

Nope, the pejorative term is "slavery", "sex-trafficking" is a term used to try and make it sound like it isn't by linking it to legitimate business. What happened to your idea of govts role as a 'social integrator', as this slavery is most anti-social behaviour?

Slavery or making people do things against their will should be illegal, but sex-trafficking per se is a business like any other business, and the only reason it is illegal is due to government oppression.

No, its illegal because its slavery, trafficking in others as goods is not the same as selling ones own services.

Trafficking in drugs is a business, and so is trafficking in sex. If the women are not being forced or threatened, there is no slavery, they are just employees.

Its a bad analogy bob, as they are not goods. If they weren't being threatened or forced you think they'd need these businessmen, sorry, pimps? No, they'd be self-employed and hiring protection rather than paying it and losing the bulk of their earnings to boot.

Again, attempting to determine that you do understand the written word, if a woman wants a pimp or needs a pimp, that is not slavery. If a woman is forced to do anything, anywhere at any time, that is slavery. I hope you can recognize the difference and get off that sexual enslavement kick of yours.

At last you recognise this.
No woman wants a pimp, they might want a bodyguard who they pay a fair percentage of their earnings to.
Its not a kick.

Who the hell are you to say what people want or don't want? I want you to get off your sexual-enslavement kick that is a misnomer on the face of it. Of course, I understand that you can't always get want you want.
