I feel for the people of Britain this winter!

It's a prerogative for royalty to have a "let them eat cake" mentality and to commiserate with all the peons - which many, it seems, don't mind being - even when there's no cake left in the fridge.

They are not just hats, they are also used as tea-cosys..

So, the King got pissed off with a pen, likely some fountain pen used for calligraphy - I had a set as a nipper - pain in the arse, I'd have got far more ticked off. Give him a biro...no problem.
Also, the bloke that posted the video...again...lmao...his King Ala Abda would have had everyone's heads chopped off.
Oh, the irony...getting sick of people posting stuff like this without an ounce of thought - to think a little deeper for some on this forum appears to be rather difficult.

Monarchs are no more and no less grasping than other social elites. The special benefit of modern constitutional monarchy is that tradition hand in hand with established,liberal religion exert a calming centring influence on agitators and the very greedy. Primogeniture within reason is as good a system as most others for selecting a constitutional monarch.
The Windsors as a family seem to have a tradition of education and service rather in the old chivalric way. which is nice for an elite family to have. One can think of other elites that are undesirable in these respects.

He's just awful. Doesn't mind handing Camilla a leaking fountain pen. How chivalrous of him. It must be his own pen too because he says 'this happens every time'. Couldn't afford a new pen that doesn't leak?
